Ko Olina is a residential and vacation community situated in the coast of Oahu on the northwest side of Honolulu, having three natural and four man-made lagoons with white sand beaches. As soon as we landed here, we were met by the friendliest people one can find. The place provides a diverse vacation option from cruising, boating, swimming, and other water-related activities. One of the most fun activities is a visit to the Mana Cruises. An unforgettable trip of Olina on a yacht, it presents an amazing view of ocean life including Fish, Turtles, Eels, Crustaceans and marine mammals such as Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and Humpback Whales. Not to mention, a sunset on a yacht is a must watch for every nature lover.
Ko Olina Beach Park is situated on the west side of the island of Oahu, between a man-made lagoon and the Ko Olina Marina. Since, I am a lover of the beach, this place got my heart. The place is popular among tourist owing to its well-maintained lawns, clean beaches, and excellent scenery.
The Paradise Cove beach provides an extraordinary variety of turtles especially the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles and other sea creatures. If you are visiting in a group, try to get there before 9 AM as there is a very restricted place for car parking, rest assured, you will surely enjoy the oceanic beauty of the place.
If you want to experience the sea life with sand and calm beauty, you surely have to visit the lagoons. There are four man-made lagoons that are open to the public and all of them are equally beautiful and enjoyable. It delivers a wonderful aura for swimming and snorkeling and a perfect spot for a picnic or for just watching a mesmerizing sunset.
The clear waters and the fascinating fish population at Kahe Point Beach Park is another destination for the tourists. If you are lucky, you can even spot some dolphins passing by. I will surely want to visit this place again.
